Dry ice blaster IB 7/40 Advanced

The compact IB 7/40 ice blasting machine offers many of the benefits of the larger IB 15/120 model but can operate with a much smaller compressed air supply, making it ideal for use with in-house compressed air systems. Kärcher’s dry ice blasting technology is a non-aggressive yet thorough method of cleaning tools, molds, surfaces, and machinery with minimal downtime. Dry ice pellets are injected into a jet of compressed air, accelerated to speeds exceeding 335 mph, and then fired at the surface to be cleaned. The dry ice penetrates cracks, lifts contaminants from the surface, and sublimates into CO₂ gas, leaving only the contaminants behind. Ice blasting uses no chemicals, produces no wastewater, is environmentally friendly, and can be used in areas where cleaning with water is prohibited or impractical. This machine is supplied without a plug.
